A day at the Miami Zoo

Sunday we went to the zoo for a little while, it was a beautiful day. Our zoo is just 10 minutes from out house. Its a beautiful zoo and many animals. Here are just a few. I took a lot of pics. for the first time all the animals were up and about, they are usually sleeping.

I know Natalie wanted to feed the Giraffes but it was so late and we were just too tired.

Check out that big Rhino in the back.

This aviary is new, after a little complaining the girls helped Natalie get a bird and feed him, she was one happy little girl.

When we got there the Flamingos were sleeping. But they still look beautiful.

Here is my Lo for this week challenge at Frosted Designs to use Acrylic/Vellum/Transparency. I used Vellum, I layered the flower on the bottom with vellum that mimics the pattern on the cardstock. Almost everything is Webster's pages. The Red poinciana not sure, the flowers are Primas and the Angel stamp is from Graphic 45. This picture is of my three kids and I on Christmas Eve 2011.

A little Scrapping.

Here are some more I did this weekend. I love it when I have scrappy time.

My mom with my two girls and my best friends daughters, who's mom was my mom's best friend for over 40 years.

You will probably never see this happen. Prissy Monica playing football with Natalie and her cousin Javy (Nano).

For the first time this Year Monica made this all by herself, I put the building together and she decorated it. Came out much better than any of the ones I have made.
