First Challenge

This year I'm going to start doing some bi-weekly challenges on Techniques. I'm posting them at scrappin mojo and thought I can post them here also. If you do both of this months challenge I will put you in a drawing for a $15.00 GC at your favorite on line store. I'm not always going to have a GC but since it's my first one I will.
Our First Challenge Misting (any brand)

Here are a few steps I have learned along the way....Hope it help you.
I don't have a mat, so I make one by wrapping plastic wrap around my cutting mat, It works great and does the job.

I used Olive Vine for this project

With a paper towel you can get all the excess that is left on your mat and distress the page.

Distress your page

Make your own pattern/screen

Finished LO.

For your Challenge I would like to see, your own pattern/screens and the edges of your LO distressed all with Mist any brand even home made ones are welcome. Hope you all play.

Add a link with your LO it can be on a blog or on line gallery.

Uh huh! I'm trying to formulate a plan. The only mist I have is a bottle of pearl glimmer mist. I'm gonna think on this one and then I'll be back.... :-)

Great challenge, Diana! I'm going to link you up from my blog.

I love using mists. I have 5 different shades of Glimmer Mist. The only problem I have is, sometimes the tip clogs! Any suggestions for how to fix or prevent that??

I have another misting tip too that I read somewhere - to cut down on mess you can mist your project inside of a box.

I hope to have a creation to share with you within the next couple of days :)

ok... here's mine! I used a punched butterfly as a mask for the misting, and then I rubbed the journaling spots into the drops on the bottom of the box for total coverage.
